The AYSO Philosophies

Open Registration 
We do not hold tryouts for our house teams.  Anyone who registers may participate as long as space is available on our teams.
Balanced Teams 
We do everything in our power to make each team in each division of equal strength.  No all-star teams.  Our goal is to have closely matched games that promote good play and sporstmanship.
Everyone Plays 
AYSO National has dictated that every player will play at least half of the game.  In Region 574 we go a step further by mandating that each player should play three quarters of each game and that no player sits twice before all players have sat once.
Positive Coaching 
AYSO coaches are trained in positive coaching techniques and conflict resolution.  AYSO has been a leader in methods to prevent violence at youth events.  Violence of any type (verbal or physical) will not be tolerated, and will result in expulsion from the park.
Good Sportsmanship
Soccer was developed as a gentleman's sport.  Training our youth to respect themselves, opponents, and officials rater than having a win-at-all-costs attitude is the key to a successful youth program.  Have Fun, Play Fair and Be Safe.
